Before all this, I was collecting GPS coordinates of sewer manholes for the city of Charlotte, NC. Then came a year of traveling through South America and Europe teaching English online — freedom I loved, with a career direction I didn't have. One month in Albania, I fired up an old copy of The Sims and built my dream life. My character was a web developer. That was the sign I'd been overthinking.
With my daughter Haven on the way, I signed up for a coding bootcamp and never looked back. Since 2019 I've gone from first web gig to full-time freelance, building for startups, agencies, and everything in between — psychology practices, coffee roasters, basketball leagues, fintech. Every new industry is a chance to learn something new.
When I'm not building, I'm traveling, reading, and thinking about money-mindset and self-awareness. I take communication and dependability as seriously as the code — with me you're hiring a partner, not just a coder.
