I have built a wide range of websites related to the following industries: psychology, authors, basketball leagues, fitness studios, coffee shops, equipment rentals, home defense, energy work, etc. Any chance I have an opportunity to work in a new field, I consider it a chance to become a better version of myself as I get to learn about something new!
Webflow has become my CMS of choice! It allows me to build the client a completely custom design, while also giving the client the ability to maintain the site themselves moving forward!
When I build a new website, I make them modern, clean, and bold. Depending on budget, I also offer branding, logo, and design packages as well!

If you told me 5 years ago that I'd be self-employed as a web developer, I'd have let my feeling of unworthiness see me out the door.
It really all started as a dream. A desire to break out of the 9-5 grind that life had come for me. I was working for the city of Charlotte, NC collecting GPS coordinates of shit holes, or more properly named, sewer manholes. I worked with some great people--but the work itself wasn't for me.
In 2018 I traveled through South America and Europe, and I taught English online. I loved the freedom and lifestyle, but I hated the draining of our savings every month and the lack of long-term career direction I had. It was during one tumultuous month of teaching English in Albania that I went back to an old game-- The Sims, and created the life of my dreams. My Sims character was a web developer, and it was then that I decided to give something that I had thought about plenty of times... an actual shot. I kid you not, the Sims finally brought me into the coding world.
That Fall, When finding that my daughter, Haven, was on the way, I frantically began to learn how to code. I signed up for the next bootcamp and landed my first web management gig in the next couple months.
I then moved on to a startup company that ultimately was not a good fit as my first true web developer gig. I was without a job during the peak of COVID and began my freelance hustle.
2021 was full of overcoming imposter syndrome, expanding horizons, breaking down dogmas, and walking into my destiny. With some help from grandmother Ayahuasca and others who have walked a path of success before me, I am well on my way to living a life that I can be passionate about and truly believe in.
